The New Measurement Train made one of its infrequent trips to the West on Friday 10 August, running as the 1Z78, 05.49 Paddington-Plymouth and returning as the 1Z87, 10.06 Plymouth to Paddington. Formed from the front 43013 (with new light clusters), 975984, 977994, 977993, 975814, 977995 and 43062 on the rear the down working passes along the Wall at Dawlish.
