On 24 July 2004, Pathfinder Railtours operated a charter from Guildford to Par. Motive power was provided by Class 50s Nos. 50031 and 50049. In the usual poor weather conditions of the west, especially when interesting trains are around, the charter rounds the curve at Dawlish Warren and starts the run along the South Devon Sea Wall
